Sweet Fletch... guess you have clients with more money to afford Hun listings, and pay you a very small % of what their costs are.
I was merely portraying that Tom has the same look and quality, in reference to someone commenting that basically "his designs look like shit" - so you should yell at them too Fletch, because they'd be insulting you as well.
Tom's galleries are still 10 for $100
+ $8 per additional gallery
Contact Tom ICQ 102-112 or email [email protected] for orders, or to talk about potential orders and ask him any questions.
BRAD - Maybe you should re-read everything I said? You're just being an asshole towards me now for not interpreting what I said.
And I do know how you treat your clients, simply because you don't know that I know, doesn't mean I don't know. I don't make remarks I can't backup, but it's private as to why I know, so I'm keeping it private.
And how dare I imply this was overage???? Did I mention overage ANYWHERE? Please do point it out, and if I did, I apologize if you feel I implied or said that, even though it makes no difference as I was posting to try to get you two communicating so you can be paid; guess you missed that point in all of my posts in this thread.
I really didn't expect this reaction from you, but everyone shows their true colours eventually; your nice faced demeanor at conventions sure tricked me, though so did DrinkingHarder [is it now?] as being a nice person.. Boy, was I sure fucking wrong there.
And regarding cutting him a deal, I said it would be nice for you to if possible, I never implied you wouldn't; re-read what people say, then take a break, and re-read it again before posting.
Regarding him having money to put food on his table; yeah, single parent, for his 2 children? Yeah, I'd put my children ahead of paying a hosting bill too, even if it was in my every intention of making good on whatever amount I might owe to whomever, but I'm not in debt to anyone, except for a loan which I don't have to paid back yet.
"If he wasn't a "kind, gentle person" I wouldn't have carried the balance. This doesn't mean that I don't have every right to payment Matt."
Yes, I realize you likely wouldn't have, which is why I mentiond it.
And WHERE, please, WHERE did I mention you don't have every right to payment?? Am I blind, and writing things I don't know I'm writing?????
ALL of my messages were for you to contact Tom to resolve and figure out a way for him to pay you back. ALL OF THEM.
You overreacted and were an asshole to me, same as DrinkingHard/DrinkingMODerately/DrinkingHarder, except you didn't act horribly towards me or threaten to make sure any and all businesses of mine fail.
And your "HAHAHAHAHAH" just shows you were quick to respond, in haste, it's a bad idea to do that; it's a worse idea to misread / misinterpret what someone says.
Also, the contacting issue goes two ways, if you never contacted him until posting in this thread, and he only contacted you at 11 PM last night, then you're both equally at fault in my opinion for not resolving this sooner, or trying to resolve this sooner. It's not hard to get in contact with Tom.

Matt,
Thanks for weighing in but you really have no clue what's going on here. The actual balance is $8452 and it ended up being me carrying him for a period of around 10 months. This wasn't some one off overage bill and how dare you even imply that if it was that I wouldn't be the type to cut him a deal. Evidently, you don't know the first thing about how I take care of my clients. Don't be presumptuous about me "not answering ICQ" he is referring to the message he sent me at 11pm last night, not any previous attempts to contact me. I don't hang out on ICQ in the evenings.
And telling me "It's also not solely his fault if you let him rack up "$7,000" in hosting bills, even though it was a kind gesture on your part" is the dumbest fucking statement I have ever heard. How do you think he was able to put whatever food on his table? Obviously, I took a risk carrying him beyond what I would extend in any regular circumstance but that was done in good faith because of his continued promise to make good on the balance. If he wasn't a "kind, gentle person" I wouldn't have carried the balance. This doesn't mean that I don't have every right to payment Matt.
Tom,
You know I've always wanted the best with you. If there is any way that you can resolve this over time you know that would be acceptable to me. I'm dissapointed that nothing has been done in ages but I am confident you can make good on this if you desire to.
I read Brad's whole post and he's nothing more than a business man who even gave him the benefit of the doubt for a LONG while. There are limits.
Thumbs up for Brad. If Brad would never contact Tom again he would never pay up, it's as simple as that.
"If Brad would never contact Tom again he would never pay up, it's as simple as that."
Isn't that apart of business? Collections for non-payment? That's up to Brad to initiate; yes, it would have been better for Tom to initiate it sooner, though I don't know when he did in the past, if Tom did contact him in the past ever, but you don't know all of Tom's circumstances, Brad might, but I'm not going to state them here, as they're private..
Sorry if I'm mistaken if collections is apart of business.. but pretty sure it is. Doesn't mean you go to a collection's agency, but contacting the person owing doesn't hurt; perhaps Brad did and was ignored, but I highly doubt that from Tom.
"Thumbs up for Brad. If Brad would never contact Tom again he would never pay up, it's as simple as that."
That's exactly what Brad should have done, is contact Tom... sooner rather than later.
DrinkingHard/DrinkingMODerately/DrinkingHarder is one of my favorite people, Matt.
Say what you like - you're the only person in here who seems to think I'm in the wrong - not even Tom will say that. Dude, you jumped the gun and were owned. Suggesting that I should have contacted him "sooner" - give me a fucking break, I'm owed serious loot there is no need to chase it down he's never not known that he's owed me. Anyways, let's help Tom sell some design work so I can get paid!
