WELL.... The FCC had NOTHING to do with this one... it was his fellow media ppl that blew this one all out of whack... Imus made the comment LAST WEDS. No one heard about it till the WEEKEND

The ONLY Reason this went so apeshit is because Al and Jesse rode the coat tails and raised holy hell about it.... Jesse said publicly years ago "Heimy Town" regarding Jews, and we all know what a 'stand up guy' Al is.
The FCC did not get involved one bit... why? because the words NAPPY HEADED HOES is NOT something they felt / feel the need to censor.
Imus lost his job due to MONEY! The sponsors started to pull out BECAUSE of all the horrible negative press.
And this DOES have EVERYTHING to do with FREE SPEECH! because Imus lost his job over 3 words, 15 letters, 5 syllables.
I personally don't like Don Imus, and I don't agree with what he said, but I will defend his right to say it.
three words spoken should not = loosing his job (AND The media has said often this week he needs MORE of a punishment, such as JAIL TIME)
Now TELL ME how this is NOT about The Freedom Of Speech
