Almost. Actually, your rights end at the private property line. A mall is private property and believe it or not, you do not have the right to freedom of speech on private property. Within an establishment, you must obey their rules.
You can however stand on a corner and do that stuff all you want (of course within the limits of the laws on obscene or threatening language).
That is why folks like Fred Phelps can stand at funerals and yell at the folks there that their son died because god hates fags, etc.
