Got this in the old inbox this morning from a real estate agent friend of mine.
April 6, 2007. NWMLS has received a report of suspicious behavior on the Eastside. A female agent took a call from a man wanting to view an advertised property. After seeing it with her and indicating he would buy it, he returned to the office and said he found a couple other properties he would like to look at in rural, remote areas ? vacant homes in the $1 to $4 million range. When the agent informed the man she had requested a male associate to join them, the man insisted that it be another female agent. When she refused, he demanded a different female agent ?drive him around.? The broker instructed him to leave, at which point he became verbally threatening, pushing his way into the broker?s office and demanding her card.
The man called himself Tim Kyle, and a maker of low-budget intimate films. He is roughly 6 feet tall, on the heavier side, has long sandy/grey hair, long dirty fingernails, wore sunglasses, leather jacket, jeans, white sneakers. He was mustached, ruddy complexion. He represented that he took the bus. He says he lives in the U-district and appears well-educated. He claimed to have $170,000 now and more in January.
