where did you read that ? there only is a "recall" if you want to call it that for people with CRACKED LCD SCREENS , something totally differnet from the scratch problem

bought an ipod mini cover from this guy in hong kong. no wait, but shipping takes about 2 weeks because it's shipped from HK. quality was very good

Let's clear some things up.

Yes, they scratch like crazy.

There was a small batch that had screen problems. Apple has offered to replace those. No biggie.

The scratch problem will go away with the the release of covers.

New Ipods are being released this month (not nano's though) with larger capacity, smaller size and the possibility of video.

I'm picking up my nano tomorrow (black). That thing is just incredible.
