    FEMA: No Bidding No Tenders

According to CNN 85% of the contracts FEMA awards have had no bidding, let alone tendering.

Exactly how much is Haliburton giving to Dubbya and company?

How many companies have as much expertise as Halliburton in this kind of thing? I actually don't know and I'm curious.

Dubya pledged that New Orleans would be rebuild by New Orleans residents.

But by the Engineers and contractors that had enough common sense to flee when warned 24 hours in advance, right? Or is Kayne West going to organize a construnction crew of the the tired, the poor and the huddled masses yearning to breathe free?

The macro budgeting that is normally in this kind of thing is a no bid contract for anything under $2500. Guess what they changed it to $250,000 for this with none of the normal protections like.....only US companies.

They also wrote the bill in such a way that they couldn't change it at all without voting it down and no one would do that.

The wolf is now the in charge of the sheep. You guys voted for them, not me.
