it was never said that the .com owner would be the holder of the .xxx otherwise, why would anyone need a sweetheart deal? theres some butt fucking gonna occur unless it is ICANN that says that the .com owner is the only one that can register the .xxx. jesus how would they even verify that? what a nightmare that could be.
i am looking forward to icann shoving this tld where it belongs forever, up lawleys ass. what people cannot forget which they will, is that behind this is another attempt, at something else. someone will always be trying to stick their hand in the pot of gold known as adult online.

yeah im not getting too optimistic either, but looking realistyc, i'd say it would be surprise if ICANN actually approves it
everyone has protested against it - GAC (governments), us, the religious folks etc -

no arguments for the approval and the process is made to be transparent, not to mention this is a public meeting and it will be webcast live
would be too controversial for ICANN to approve .xxx IMO..
