Anyone have a reliable source of anonymous proxies?

I need a reliable source...

By that I mean I need a few hundred proxies a day. And I don't mean the list works at 12am and quickly degrades to 50 usable ones in 4 or 5 hours.

I need a list. I need to have multiple different IP addresses. I could setup a server or 3 to have a proxy but I need to have 400 IP's at a time for what I need to do... Therefor I need a list of 400 a day that are WORKING and anonymous and NOT Codeen proxies.

Another example... That list was posted in 2002.

Out of 840 URL's I would imagine that only 30 to 40 actually give anything near a decent list.... The othes are making you wait hours for the checks to finish.

I was actually curious if there were other reasons to use them en masse.

- If you use them for security testing, good for you.

- If you use them as a hitbot, you're pretty annoying.

- If you use them for spam, you really fucking suck as an individual and owe everyone you've spammed reparations for the time you've wasted them.

I don't spam peoples email addresses...

I do use them for testing...

Pretend for a moment that I want to run the same query in google many times over but for each page of 100 results... Google is going to ban my IP because that is suspicious activity.. IE, that is the same thing someones worm does when it goes out searching for wordpress versions with exploits...

So I don't want to do anything annoying... I just need to make a lot of queries in a short span of time.

Why not code a script so that it runs as a background task on your server, padding out the queries so it doesn't look machine generated? I did this with Google Maps / Google Earth, if you grab their satellite image tiles too quickly then you get banned. While I was fine tuning it I managed to get 3 of my 4 servers banned

I can get my hands on anonymous proxies just fine.

But in an hour or two they go from 100 to 20 working proxies. This excludes all of the CoDeeN/PlanetLab proxies. You probably get a list every two weeks and within three days the working ones are dead and 1/2 are not anonymous anyway.

I am looking for a provider of proxies that can deliver working ones on a daily basis.

then the only way is leeching, find some working proxy, put it into google and leech googled sites. thats the only way, or you need some private sources and i dont think someone will share private proxies for seo purposes
