I would prefer a programmer who owned similar sites to me, cuz then they'd know exactly what to do.
As far as them using the programs on his site, just state in the contract that he/she can't use it, or get a cheaper rate if they intend to use it also. -
I don't care.
I've paid for 'customization' for some certain scripts and paid $100's, if not $1000's for that..and then they offer the same features a few updates later in their own script for everyone.
I'm cool with that, as long as I get what I want, I don't care if others do too.
Maybe I'm too nice.
