As for Arnold's kidneys, I wasn't aware of any problem with them, although steroids have been known to cause major kidney problems. Arnold did have two heart valves replaced back in 1997, although he called that "elective surgery" (like the plastic surgery on his face was).
As for poor Maria, imagine what thoughts went through her mind when gazing at her late Grandma, Rose Kennedy...THIS CAN"T HAPPEN TO ME!!!

The image on the right IS real and was taken in 97 when he had his angioplasty. He wasn't able to lift or do cardio for about a year during that time, so his body slowly turned into mush. Arnold certainly owes a lot to steroids, and to all of the big money special interests that helped put him in power, whom he now kowtows to.
He doesn't seem to grasp how government works, and has alienated himself from the State legislature as well as most of the voters. His approval rating is curently lower than that of Gray Davis whom he replaced in a recall election.
I enjoy many of Arnold's movies, but cannot for a moment condone how he has handled the office of the Governor.
Arnold is no friend to Police Officers, Fire Fighters or Nurses. He is doing his best to put severe restrictions on their ability to play a part in State elections.
He "borrowed" $2 billion from the Education fund after taking office to help in other areas of the budget, and he promised to re-pay it. He did not do that, and has instead raised the ire of most of our educators, while hurting our schools and students.
If you are gay/lesbian, Arnold has indicated that he will not approve a bill passed by the legislature to permit same sex marriage.
His speechwriters give him words to read, which he frequently mangles, and then he falls back on a laugh and a line from one of his movies. People can only take so much of that.
There are much better qualified Republicans than Arnold (for example Tom Campbell). The problem is that Arnold used his Hollywood "star-power" to con people into voting for him as a populist - the irony is that Arnold has taken in more special interest money than any of his predecessors. He would rather travel around the country doing partisan and special interest fundraisers than stay in Sacramento and do the work of the people.
This is not a movie. Arnold is doing a tremendous amount of damage by virtue of his inexperience and bumbling ways. I bid him a hasty exit from the State house, and back to Hollywood, where he will be back in his element, reading lines in comic book action movies.
