Woj may not use a script esp in contests, but when I see things slow to a crawl near the win post count, I suspect that it is a script sending Get after Get after Get requests and checking post count. In otherwords kinda taking over control. Really want to make that work? Have more than one pc or even instances of the script running.

The logs for GFY at the time would prove to be interesting. With real smarts, the "hacker" would use multiple proxies (of course that would slow down a script) to do this too. You don't have to be logged in to read the board.

All speculation of course. No one would think of doing this for $1000.

It could be just about anything.

There is a big difference between a simple refresh and a script doing continuous Get requests. Plus add a handful of scripts and ya have a mess.
