I can't see any reason to buy new snowmoblies, i'll just fix the old ones ... the season keeps getting shorter EVERY year now... i think i got out MAYBE 5 times this year......

snow's almost gone here - used to have to after the forum for a week or two....

Apparently Polaris' snowmobile income was practically cut in half in 2006. No wonder they are all pushing the UTV's now. Snowmobiles are a dying market. I only got out once this year.

Its all the hot air that he spews out. Makes the snow melt.

I was looking at buying another one at the beginning of the winter, I decided I would wait to see how much snow we got. Im glad i waited, another shitty snowmobiling season here.

I've decided im gonna get a 4 wheeler instead.

do you guys get wacky drunk and ride these things the way Americans do riding lawnmowers?

One of my favorite bands (Turbonegro) is from Oslo, and they make references to getting drunk and driving snow plows and shit, sounds fun i might add.

              cheers all!

You should have expected it. Those engines are horrible on the emissions so you were only speeding up the deterioration of your wintertime sports.

Take heart though. They say that the global warming will eventually trigger an ice age, so you will get lots of opportunities to play in the snow!

                LOL

A lot of people do, however most of these new sleds will top 100 MPH, so you have to be careful. Plus the police are really cracking down on that sort of thing, often setting up spot checks on the trails. The penalties are the same as if you are caught driving a car drunk.

My god, some cops have nothing else better to do with their fucking time already.
