Yeah, its a great show. Works really well if you watch it all in a row as they end each episode with something about to happen. Waiting each week for the next episode is a pain.

great show....if anything its Swiss Family Robinson...or even Blue Lagoon....haha Castaway definately wasn't the original idea. The only thing similar to the two is an island and being stranded.

I like it. Watch it from beginning to end and odds are you will be hooked too.

I think its the best show on TV. I thought it was going to be some cheesy Fantasy Island bullshit before I watched it. Its really more influenced by Twilight Zone and shows like that. There are tons of clues and interesting references, like a character named after influential philosophers John Locke and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. There are tons of theories about what the island really is, some are that its purgatory, a government experiment, etc. I cant recommend this show enough!

It's definitely a kick-ass show, and I agree waiting a week for the next episode is grueling as hell. After I watch the show, I always head over to the network's forum to read up on theories from other fans.
What can I say... I'm a freaking loser. However, the show rocks.

The last time I got so addicted to a tv series is when I had bought season one of "24" and after the first two episodes of that..I just wanted to watch ALL of them..except exhaustion prevented it.
LOST is well written, well cast, and obviously has one twisted and maybe even deranged plot going on. I've heard so many different ideas from people as to what is going on on the island that it goes to show how well written it is.
I mean..what are the chances of the dude being in that place that "Jack" ran into years before while running?
