YoungStuds.com is an excellent domain name.

60% of the site's visitors arrive from Yahoo!
Others are type-ins and word of mouth.

I must sell this site soon.

how can you be asking 25k for a site that makes 1400 per month?

please explain why you think it is worth 25k$ !!!

I mentioned you would get 10k tops for the site.. and you blew me off.. you said you had an offer for 20k.. did it fall through? or are you actualy thinking you will get 25k for a site that gets 100 hits per day and has 120 recurring members at 14.95 each month making you a big 1400 a month.

yikes........... agree with pimpdog. other than the nice domain names which might be worth a few grand, the rest is worth about 7 grand max.

i gotta see if anybody gives 20 grand, i gotta think no way unless somebody gets a hardon for the domain name and loses their common sense. sometimes happens with domain names.
I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

domains mean nothing (in most cases). You can make $260k a month with blahlbah34.com

                  > domains mean nothing

Nah thats crap...... unless its coming from someone who's only ever used blahlbah34.com type domains.

Try switching to something more professional and watch how your repeats & signs increase. A good domain name is memorable and adds authenticity amongst other things.

YoungStuds.com is pretty damn good in the gay genre.

that was an example man. I'm just saying you could own gay.com and it could make less $ than gayvideoboys.com or something along those lines.

                          Here's Why It's Worth $25,000

                          Why is YoungStuds.com worth $25,000?

The site has never been advertised. It has never been marketed. It is listed on only a handful of link lists. And it is listed on only a few search engines. Yet despite that, YoungStuds.com receives over 100 visitors a day based solely on search engines and type-ins. And despite the fact that barely a drop of effort has ever gone into promoting the site and despite the fact that I spend less than one hour each week on the site, it still NETTED me $20,000 in 2002. (And 2002 was the worst year the site ever had.)

If you are an experienced webmaster, then it is simply a matter of promoting the site or otherwise getting traffic flowing to it and the bucks will start coming in. Your $25,000 investment can easily be earned back in a matter of months. The site is a money-making-machine that is already up and running and proven to work.

Finally, YoungStuds.com is truly a killer domain name. It is an easy-to-brand name and can obviously expand into many other ventures and venues including videos and magazines.

That's why the site is worth $25,000. If not more.

Adult websites are very hard to sell. If your members were recurring at 30.00+ or something your site would be worth alot more. It is really all about the recurring. If you take your 120 members times 14.95 that is 1,794 gross monthly, minus processing fee's which I think CCBill is 13% that leaves 1,561. Plus content and hosting etc. and you your net is not very much. Usually when you sell a site you take your net times 6 to 12 months of income depending on the site and that is the maximum you could probably sell it for. If your not in a hurry to sell you could try to sell it for that much but I can tell you from experience that is will be very hard. I sold a site a couple sites years ago and had almost 200 members recurring at 24.95 and got 9k for the sites. If you have bought a bunch of licensed content that would make your sites worth more. You can also try to charge more and get more memebers before you sell, that would help. Good luck to you.

The Value of Killer Domain Names

I sold YoungBabes.com and YoungSex.com for almost as much as I'm asking for YoungStuds.com - and that was just for the domain names alone.

Don't underestimate the value of a good easy-to-remember easy-to-understand brandable Adult domain name.
