See my dad and I think differently on a million different things. So we discuss. And you're right, usually neither of us changes our mind about anything, but we still discuss like civil beings and don't call the other one an idiot or a sheep because they have a different opinion. We actually discuss. And guess what? Sometimes we do change our stance on an issue or mull over a little tidbit brought up by the other person.

Maybe you and your family should try an actual discussion. Its much more enjoyable, and you just may learn something.
