I bought it because we figured that maybe once Sony would follow through on their promises. But alas, they didn't. Now they're losing exclusive games on a regular basis making the XBox360 look a lot better than it already is.
Games available on both systems, in comparison, look better on the 360. Add in the Achievements and XBoxLive and it only get's better.
So far only one PS3 game has held my attention for more than a few days, and that was Resistance: Fall of Man. Not a bad shooter, but not great by any means.
There's still hope. I do get to watch the movies I can't get on HDDVD.
