holy shit dude - your forgetting that the majority of posters here have no clue that he was in a band before wings much less heard of that rumor from over 30 years ago. I'm 46 and even back then I knew it was bullshit. they would have announced his death and made a shitload more money from the royalties of record sales as people bought up the record stocks in remembrance.
