I hope not. I heard they were coming to the states and I wanted to pick one up if they were like the originals. I almost imported one a few years back. May still have to try that route.
the G35 coupe in Japan is the Skyline but has near 400hp as far as i know and its all wheel drive. Im not too sure on the exact #s but i know for sure its as good if not better then the R34 skyline as far as performance.
I still think the R34s look much better.

Nissan wanted to captalize on the Skyline name so they made it a line of cars. In japan its available in 4 different engine sizes, none of the which eclipse the size of the Infiniti G35 (our "Skyline") engine.
The Nissan Skyline and the G35 share NOTHING with the 400bhp AWD beast that you guys are talking about. The only thing about the "new" Sklyine that resembles the old Skylines is the Nissan badge.
The AWD Skylines of old are coming back under the names GTR...just like the old ones minus the Skyline. A GTR is coming to the U.S. In 07-08 under an Infiniti badge, basically for a shoot out with the CLS, SL, BMW6, and any other luxury coupe monster out there.
I have a G35, pre-ordered mine way back in 03. I hear the interiors gotten better, the rattles are gone, and you can't beat 35k for 280+ horses.

I love the G35 coupe. It offers handling, looks, power, refinement.
However, if horsepower is your only concern you can get a lot more HP's for the money in the GTO. I wouldn't drive a GTO if you gave it to me but it's got some balls.
You deserve to make more money. I'll help you do that.
