After reading this thread I just want to buy a ticket and head on over there right now. Have been talking to a good friend about going along with me but dont think he wants to so looks like I will be all by myself.
Im planing on going sometime in december - january and maybe stay for like a month anyone that could recommend me a good/cheap hotel pretty central in Bangkok or maybe a place where they rent out apartments. Also if stay in central bangkok how far away is the beach (a good beach).
