    How Much Would You Pay To Put Your AD on a DVD

    My company AMS provides ad space on DVDs in the form of commercials and we also do DVD coupon inserts.

    We wanted to run a poll to see what you would pay for such ads.

    Lets assume that the these are Top Level Production companies and that the dvd will be viewed 100,000 times in year 1

          Adult films are sold nationally and to over 45 countries on DVD.


          Every one of the AMS production partners sell their DVD's nationally in thousands of different retail environments ranging from Tower Records to online websites. Go to the mall and see for yourself.


          The true power of adult material is its ongoing use by the consumer. In no other media will you find a consumer watching the same piece of material over and over again on a weekly or daily basis.


          There is also the viral marketing? factor. In no other media do you find the consumers of a product sharing that product, talking about the product, and generating such powerful grassroots buzz about a product. In addition to this, adult films have a much longer shelf life than mainstream media.


          Unlike mainstream movies, these movies are continually replicated and promoted for an average of 15 years.

              What kind of DVD is it going to be on...

              Is it going to be on one of those cheap Compilation Discs that don't let people fast forward?

              I'd rather go with the coupon insert. Commercials on DVD just contradicts itself.

                  You also have to make sure that it's not a skippable ad and force people to watch it.
