before you post something about a country in europe, educate yourself please.
The Vlaamse Block _IS_ an extreme-right party.. There is no and never has been any doubt about it. They just could not outlaw it before because of some loopholes they used. The Vlaamse Block is NOT the biggest party in BELGIUM, it is the biggest party in the Flemish part of Belgium, and honestly, scares the living hell out of me.
The reason that the Vlaamse Block is popular in the Flemish part of Belgium is that they are pro splitting up the country in 2 or maybe even 3 parts. Its all a little bit more complicated than this article makes it look I fear...
So, get your facts straight and do not base it on one article from a UK newspaper..."Think about it a little more and you'll agree with me, because you're smart and I'm right."

I also know Belgium is a country that was established without a desire from either the Francophones or the Flemmish, and that they have been fighting for an independent state ever since. The Vlaams Blok has a heap of support, and for very good reason. And MetroPornTour I do mostly agree with you, and that is essentially what I am saying here. These people in power (in the Europe they happen to be neo-Communists), will do whatever necessary to hang on to power. However this is a great example of when their attempts to push their opinion through the media, the education system, etc fail they have no problem with resorting to such things as sanctions and the illegalisation of political parties.

This is the problem with patriotism. Patriots always get caught up playing the "My country is better than your country game."
In truth it all the same. Comparing these various things is like comparing multiple piles of shit and trying to decide which one smells better.
And yes I ask what my country can do for me. Afterall, I fucking pay those assholes. They are supposed to work for me and not the other way around.
