But how does a movie like transporter 2 get made? I can't imagine anyone who saw the first one would go see the second. It was absolute rubbish and i'm betting the sequel will be worse if that's at all possible.

The first Transporter was great.
I haven't seen the second, but will get the DVD when it's released.

It's no different than our bussiness really. You can have a crappy website but a great tour, and still get signups.

Talk about great sequel--I think Mummy returns is at the top of my list.

Heh, I quite enjoyed the first transporter.. I agree that asian chick squealed too much.. she's famous in China though.. Hsu Chi.. did a little softcore porn too....

Second one was 'entertaining'... as long as you're allowing yourself to watch it JUST for entertainment.. absolutely nothing is plausible, and it's pretty cheesy...

Transporter made huge bank on DVD, not so much on it's original release. Something like 25 million. Transporter 2 made 25 million in it's openimg weekend. So expect to see Transporter3 sometime in the next few years.
