The hit on Modano was clean.

As for the punch, Robidas is taking a run at him and going for the head. You supposed to react how? The haymaker may have been a bit excessive but hardly out of nowhere and unwarranted. Not like Robidas was just skating by to get his new cell number. He was trying to head hunt Tootoo in defense of Modano. He just got hit by a quicker player.

lol, have you ever even played hockey? you take a run at the other teams star player you stand up and fight like a man not sucker the guy coming in. Everytime Kariya gets the slightest tap trashville crys and sends out all their goons like that waste of skin.

Luckily the guys who run the league do know the "code" and this loser is gone for a while anyway

Its obvious you hate Tootoo which is fine as most of the time he is out running wild and making very questionable hits. This time however was not the case.

If you are honestly saying that Robidas was just skating in to challenge him and wasnt trying to lay him the fuck out, then you got a point about Tootoo's reaction. But if you watch the video its clear what he is doing. He is not going in to challenge Jordan to a fight he is going to clean his clock. Jordan cleaned his first.

pause that video at the 27 second mark and tell me that Robidas wasnt trying to head hunt.

If his hands we down and he went in to challenge him that would be different. He wasnt challenging shit. He was just doing.

He SUCKER PUNCHED a guy in the face...you never punch a guy in hockey unless you have both dropped your gloves and are ready to go...I'm not gonna argue this I'll just bump it when the suspension is in becuause he IS getting one

When a guy is putting his hands towards your head and is coming for you its not a sucker punch. The Bertuzzi punch was a sucker punch.

If you engage you gotta expect that a punch could be coming your way. It was a perfect punch. And if it wasnt then him and Robidas would have dropped em and had a go at it.

A suspension is coming but I dont think it will be more than 5 games. Robidas did get a charging penalty on that play. He was charging at Tootoo who had his back to Robidas and would have plowed him head first if Jordan didnt turn around in time to see him coming.

I care less about either team or player. But it was not a "sucker punch" it was just a good hard haymaker that Robidas should have seen coming as he was the engager in this but didnt.

5 game suspension as I thought it would be. Glad the NHL looked at all factors on this one rather than just throwing the book at him.
