Hmmm, how long does it take? I just did a quick online search and the place I found was closer to $500 but I would drive up to Seattle if it was just a day course or cheaper. That price I found was for NAUI. It says the open water certification dives are in puget sound anyway.Comment

That price is about right for private lessons which you can do to get certified on a fast track but PADI courses here in seattle (my local shop is called lighthouse, 206-524-1633) and the non private courses there are under $300 which I think gets you the open water cert and dry suit course if you choose to go that way.Originally posted by abadfishHmmm, how long does it take?
