    ATTENTION question to all webmasters!

I'm just wondering how many of you have back problems (from sitting on your ass all day in front of a screen) lol I've never had so much problems with my back...Anyone else have that problem and what do you do?

I broke my back years ago....and I've had sciatic pain ever since. Add to that, mouse shoulder and hip pain from sitting in this damned chair for seven years.

I am no longer in pain. Took four months and three days a week at the gym and it's the only thing that's worked for me.

I have been having problems with my lower back. However, I think the majority of my problem is that I'm too broke to buy a new office chair.

Are you sure it's from sitting all day?

Perhaps there's another reason for your back pain. Like your front.

                    Hey FB,

I had major major back problems about two years ago. Not due to an injury but it seemed to come out of nowhere. I found it to be stress related as I was dealing with taking care of a very sick parent at the time.

Not saying this is a cure all but check out a book by John Sarno called The Mind Body Prescription (or something along those lines). A very interesting read and it has helped many with back issues...

                    Good luck!

                      Get ecersise.

A simple walk for about 20 minutes a day or longer should do the trick.

I find getting up every couple of hours and stretching out for about 5-10 minutes helps (also gives me a chance for a smoke break ) - staying in the same position for long durations can really aggrevate back pain.

Of course, Ron makes a good point, women with large breasts are more likely to have back pain from the weight at the front there.

You may find a chiropractor helps you FB, they've worked wonders for me when I've used them.
