That of course doesn't apply to all, just look at the average rap video of the past 4 years...some will sell out their image JUST for money.(or create a negative one) because some people in America like seeing a negative image of blacks, and unfortunately, I know that the "ghetto bitch" is some kind of "fantasy" for some white men.
Yes, I know it is just marketing, but it is still an image that most black people strive to get away from, (women especially) and what you see in the media is not a representation of the majority of blacks in the country, but it is the one that many of "white America" believes.
When I was in college, I would do a lot of odd jobs to pay tuition, paint houses, banquets, bartending, cleaning stables, but I wouldn't take a job that was purposely demeaning, or disrespectful to me on the issue of race, just to make extra money.
That's all I'm saying.
