Who in the Adult Online Community has done the most to Promote "Free Speech"

Has anybody in the online community recently won a particularly tough case with First Amendment implications?

Has somebody gone over the top and committed acts 'out of the ordinary' in behalf of "Free Speech"?

Is someone doing something special and deserving of commendation?

    I'd like to know....

Michelle, the FSC Executive Director, emailed me today that X-biz has invited the Free Speech Coalition to offer an award as part of the X-biz awards. She thought we should recognize someone from the online side of the industry with a "Freedom Fighter of 2005" Award for someone who has contributed extensively to the fight to protect Free Speech....and I completely agree...

            So, I'm asking...WHAAAAAAZZZZ UPPPPPPPPPP

I am a strong supporter of free speech. However, in this political climate, does the adult industry want to be seen rewarding the kinds of extreme content producers who are most likely to be involved in free speech cases?

For example, Max Hardcore and Extreme Associates have both won court cases in the last few years. Does X-biz want to give awards to companies or people who many in the adult industry think are "hurting" the industry?

I support free speech rights even for content that I personally find offensive, but some in the adult industry are not very open minded when it comes to content that they think is offensive.

Fight The Patent ( Brandon ) would be a good candidate.

We are looking for someone who has done something innovative, has had a positive impact on "free speech issues," or has in some way stood up for freedom.

I don't believe that this is an existing video company extreme content search. We are really searching for "actions" more than "content."

                    Any suggestions?

You do put up a hard argument for whatever you believe in. I was impressed with your tenacity concerning the XXX TLD.

A: It was the only way to teach people.
                            B: Notice Brandons list now.
C: Never guess what I really think. Odd's are your will most likely be wrong.
D: I have never once been afraid to speak my mind. Even in the most fucked up of situations

Good luck finding this man you seek.

Free Speech and those who support it or are "Active" in it I think are very different people than the ones whom exercise it.
