Stay as far away from GFY as possible. It will suck you in and you will waste valuble time there when you could be making money.

When you ignore this advice. Keep your personal life off the board. You will get caught in your every lie ( even if you don't get called on it) Newbies to the business that post here more often than not ( notice i didnt' say all) never learn about this business. they learn a few buzz words and catch phrases, pretend to have traffic. They then progress into making it their lifes mission to convince someone they are making money, in hopes they can earn a reputation and sell their sig for a couple hundo a month. Meanwhile still not making any real money or learning about this business.

Then stage II begins , something happens in their life and they try to convince themselves someone here is going to give a fuck.

I don't care you just bought a used 20K car, and neither does anyone else. just yesterday you were arguing with some noob that you were so superior and made Huge Bank in adult, fool.

You will then have the attitude that you know something about everything.
One day you will ask Auto advice on its most basic level, the next you speak of vortech superchargers and power adders and try to get involved with a conversation Way beyond your knowledge, all the while looking like an ass and never even realizing it.

Get to know the companies, and people you are dealing and working with. Reputation is a big key to landing In House positions, but as long as you have internet connection, there is no excuse why one can't squeeze their way into making some cash. Its always slow at first, unless you catch that break, but never the less, its like a 9-5, behind a desk, it takes time to work your way up.

Know your traffic. If you have dating traffic, and you send them anal sites, chances are, you losing money.

Know what you can, and cannot do. You don't want that know at the door.
