                                                                                I have no undertanding of martial arts but to generate that much speed/strength combination must only be capable for a very few people. You would think he would need to start the punch from behind him to build up that much speed/strength...from what I saw in that training clip.

                                                                                            I'm far from expert but in basic lines you are right. Great boxers have the ability to pounch you hard from very small distances. If you see michalis knock outs are a single pounch in the head. Most atheletes in his category need multiple ones to achive it and still it's not that easy. Michalis needs one pounch in your head/face and you are done. I can see it as a gift from nature, cause all these atheletes are trained on the exact same things and rarely you see anyone with such exceptional difference. There are a lot of money involved on k-1,worldmax and pro kickboxing tournaments, that's why you won't see those doing illegal fights.
