Who here has run a marathon?

My wife did NYC in 2004. I'm due. I heard San Diego was awesome with bands playing along the route every mile or so.

Has anyone run in Europe or have good info on the busy marathon events there?

I did half a marathon and im gonna tell you, it wasnt fun. Then again i hate running and only did it because i had to
