I liked Neil Diamond when he was true to his folksong roots, but when he went lounge with the gold chains and such I lost interest.
...still love to play "Solitary Man" though, and liked the version that Chris Issak released a few years ago.

I got dragged to one of his shows in '88. It was a pretty good show, in a shmaltzy sort of way. His audience was crazy worshipful, kind of reminded me of Deadheads, only in K-mart polyester instead of tie-dye. The coolest thing was his drummer was the legendary Ron Tutt, who played with Jerry Garcia and Elvis.Unvaxxed, still alive.Comment
