I just checked my traffic sources again and found that one of the toplists I'm getting traffic from has banners with boys that look under aged, I clicked the banners to see that those were indeed what I feared.
those banners weren't there 2 months ago.
as soon as I found out I removed the link from my site to that toplist.
how big a crime did I do by sending traffic to that toplist for 2 months after it changed it's promoting content ?

* Mainstream ? $65 per sale

It's also possible that the toplist is 100% automated and it became a "build it and forget it" type of site.

If that's what he is doing it's a pretty stupid thing. This isn't 5 years ago when even TGP's were auto posting galleries. Things have changed.

I also have it noted that I can't be held responsible for content on other's site, at the bottom of my site.

I was pondering how link lists or types of sites like that can deal with something like this, as they have thousands of outgoing links and don't check them after a period of time.
sure, they have scripts to check if the page changes but part of the content of that page might be generated by an out sourced JavaScrip file as: banners.js that stays the same but can be set to show different banners after 3 months of approval.
a link list with hundreds of links to sites with cp content can get you in trouble - that's what I think.

Do you really think a little blurb at the bottom of your site would hold up in court?

In my opinion nothing will happen to you, even if you are investigated (which is very unlikely) it's not like you saw the content up and said oh what the hell and kept sending traffic, you did what you had to do and reported it.

You are find in my book But I'm no lawyer ;)

eh guys are you kidding me? you mean if someone started k1d5 toplist and will put half banners illegal and half of the big sponsors, big sponsors have problems? or what you all mean? i am running my sites and i am signed on my sponsors, i do not take care about others right?
