1. Get your facts straight. I've never had a problem making money with a site.

I read the first page and the last page, and I just want to offer my two cents for anybody who might be thinking about contacting him but not completely sure.
If he can deliver what he promises (which I beleive he can), then $1000 for someone to teach you seo is peanuts. I too am a yahoo hater and would rather talk in terms of google, but yahoo isn't that bad, you could do quite well if he teaches you sound seo and offers good(read relevant) inbound links and coaching.
I used to offer the same service, but for google. I charged anywhere from $2500 - $4500 as a one-time fee, then anywhere from $600/month to $1500/month for 6 months minimum. So even though its yahoo, it's still a pretty decent deal. And remember, for those of you who have a hard-on for google, you can learn on yahoo then once you're comfortable (and making enough to pay the bills) start slowly with a google affair.
in conclusion.. dude being hammered by tons of people is expected when u come on GFY talking seo. at the end of the day if he has references and he has results he can show, this IS a good deal.Comment

I have a page that is listed # 1 in Google in a popular adult niche -over 1,500,000 results from Google. It is a PR2 with just 8 sites linking to it - the site listed #3 is a PR5 with 125 sites linking to it. There is no content on the page. Just a bunch of links. I got it here by doing 2 simple things, including 1 that would be considered a major mistake by the seo experts. Will sell the "secret" for 25 bucks.Comment

Not to knock Yahoo rankings, but its all about links there. Just go crazy with link requests with the anchor text you are looking to rank for and you can rank anything there quickly. The Google lessons is where its at man. You show your Google rankings on here that you have, and I'm certain a ton of people will sign up.Comment

$1k isnt too bad for learning solid Yahoo SEO and getting the (productive) traffic slowly rolling.
Remember though that whitehat SEO can be a lot of very tedious and repetitive work. However unlike TGPs & galleries, you simply build and forget, traffic rolls in often for years without you lifting a finger.
Btw regarding the yahoo/google traffic, on my (12 months+ old) domains I get about 1/3 the referals from yahoo compared to google. Its all on different terms though.mehComment
