When I first got into blogging, Yahoo picked me up rather quickly for a phrase I was after. I worked pretty hard to get to page one, and I always looked up to Fleshbot as they ruled, with gaypornblog a consistent #2.

Well, there is a new #1 in town, and it is me.

You know, that is one thing about Yahoo . . . it seems to offer different results depending on where you are doing the query. When I saw the results I immediately had 4 or 5 other people check and they got the same results, but I would not doubt for a minute that somewhere has a different result.

Well the best of luck to your keyphrase bro !! Also, I have noticed the same thing actually, a new rank seems to "bounce" alot but eventually matures and stabilizes. I see it more frequently on Google, but Yahoo quite a bit as well.

Oh, I used some reporting tools and it does indeed look like you;ll have solid #1

Congrats bro, its a nice little term, probably 200~500 a day traffic to your site

and it is 2 years older than mine, and I haven't touched mine in 4 months, and I turn down linkback requests

i dont think fleshbot is even going for that term, the term isnt in their title, page, and i didnt check the backlinks but i think its safe to say they arent using it in a ton of their backlinks.
