There is some crab here (long island) and I'm 4 houses from the water, but you would have to be crazy to eat shellfish from this water.

Nothing better than fresh crab meat and hot butter...mmmmmm....

Last week at Ruth's Chris I had them prepare a filet "Oscar style" which means they essentially top it with two small crab cakes and a few asparagus spears, and it was sex on a plate. One of the best meals I've ever eaten in my life.

you can legally have 2 traps here in florida without a license

i can get abut 2 dozen a day here of blue crabs. i also get the stone crabs sometimes (they are the best) better than lobster

on the stone crabs you just remove one claw and throw him back in and he will grow another
