    Programs closing and not sending notice

    Why do Programs just close and not send any emails to their webmasters. I just found one that has closed shop and I have links all over to remove. They have my phone number, my icq, and my email. they could have said something first don't you think!

    Its a good thing I have experience with program owners that suddenly decide to shut down all their sites over night. But It still pisses me off.

          Well, sometimes I guess folks don't have the sense to notify their affiliates. That is poor business practice since they might be back in biz in future. Folks remember that.

                              Its a ccbill program site I did a lot of scripts and marketing for. they had about 5 different members sites. they still owe me 100 dollars so I'll give up the name

                                          felt like it at one time. they had nothing so i made fhg scripts and the like for them. started cranking up their traffic and then they stopped paying me direct. they were still ccbill so I kept their links up. but now everything is gone
