                                                  I think High Definition is the way to go really.
                                                  Most all production companies now are shooting in HD and setting the stage for the HD revolution in Porn for 2006.

                                                  Mark your calendars.

                                                  My content is ready for the net today and internet companies are definatly taking note and learning about this. The learning curve for HD is not easy. Its not Video and its different in all aspects of production from lighting to model selection to editing and encoding. I have done all this work for you in this package!

                                                          This set I learned Content is not all it is cracked upto be.
                                                          There is alot involved in a single production from shoot to final product it is alot of man hours in Post.

                                                          The model has to be nearly perfect for HD or some shit does not work.

                                                          I have a couple sets of different models I chose to never release and this technically is a 3rd shoot that I was satisified releasing as iAlien LLC's first content release.

                                                          Alot of TLC was put into this.

                                                              for the web surfer "HD" is mostly a function of encoding to accomodate rapidly increasing surfing speeds.

                                                              the marketplace will demand it shortly, but almost all existing content shot on DV can look this good or better just by changing bit rate.

                                                              IMO this sample would be stronger if color balanced correctly and no dubbed music, but it looks ok.

                                                                  DV content is 4:3 it is inherently impossible for it to really fit with the quality levels and experience of 16X9.

                                                                  Color Balance wise I feel that the balance on the color is just fine it was intentionally offset for production reasons. It wouldnt look "Amateur" enough.

                                                                  Yet at the same time I aimed for it to be Pro/AM material. Somewhere in the middle. But like all works...

                                                                      It is nice content.... but I'm shocked that you still have half the licenses left after all this time. Really puts into perspective how the content sells market is. I would have thought they would have been gone in a week or so.

I'm not a fan of .wmv format (colors are never vivid and it's a bit grainy), but this sample is better than most surfers will see today nonetheless and I think they'd be thrilled to enter a paysite with this.

                                                                              I don't think the industry decides when to release higher quality video though. We could be putting out full screen "digital TV quality" stuff right now. The ability is there, but surfers don't want to download a 175mb file for a 10 minute scene.

                                                                              We just have to sit back and wait for internet connections to increase in speed. You can bet we'll suck every ounce of surfer bandwidth we have available.

                                                                              One thing I definitely don't like to see is all the sites out there putting out crappy quality video in a tiny window. There is no place for that in online adult today. The same thing can be said for photo quality.

                                                                                      I chose not to add music to the actual clips because it would detract from the experience. I believe music is fine for promotional clips etc etc but for the nitty gritty I do not think music is positive element

                                                                                                                                  There are a couple pro-sumer level camara's that I think are outstanding.

                                                                                                                                  I think everyone knows about the SONY FX.
                                                                                                                                  Thats a great CAM, however I elected to use a different CAM early on which was one of the first generation CAM's for HD.

                                                                                                                                  That would be the JVC GR HD1.

                                                                                                                                  Now before anyone decides to get into content, give it a serious thought.
                                                                                                                                  It is not all that it is cracked up to be. From shooting to encoding to capturing, the hardware alone will cost ya few bucks and figuring out the transport's and compatibilities is not easy.

                                                                                                                                  Let alone editing, audio, Make up, lighting, schedualing, dealing with model drama, so on and so forth...

                                                                                                                                  The reward is great though if you have an urge to be creative, unfortunatly the demand for content is not all that it is cracked up to be. There is a ton of content out these days. ALOT of it and if you think busting out getting a camara and going the full length I hate to shatter your dreams.

                                                                                                                                  Ya got alot of work ahead of ya and you goto love doing it.
                                                                                                                                  I like doing it, to me it is better than designing. I been a graphic designer for 12 years and I desperatly needed a career change. Something different and that is a challenge.
                                                                                                                                  I am not the best business man I will admit that but if you are decent at business you are probably better off utilizing that then getting into this line of work.

So you think not every member has broadband connection but surely many do then why deprive them? You can always offer your members movies in different sizes and formats and watch the rebills roll in
