    Serious question: can I fool the SEs?

    long story short:

    I have a lot of ORIGINAL text content that has nothing to do with adult, I can get a script/program that builds complete sites (say 600-1000 pages) using this content by replacing nouns in the text with the keywords I want to target:say my text conent is about horses so I want to build a site with the keyphrase 'horny women' in mind, so I replace all the instances of 'horses' with 'horny women'.

    From the SEs point of view the site will be 100% ok, because there will be no grammar errors etc, so the only way the site gets penalized is if it gets reported.

    Since I can build these sites pretty fast, it'll only take making 4-5 sales from the site for this whole thing to be profittable...

    Any thoughts on this?

              does text alone do much? i always thought it was all about the backlinks and what words people are linking back to you with.
              you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..

                      I have sites that get some SE traffic that are only linked from 3-4 of my other sites, I have acounts on diff. hosts and can get some more if needed (diff C class IPs)

                      So the idea is building SMALL networks of sites that can make me a quick buck ;)

                          Not exactly new - it was on every spam page at one time and still is if ya just want a couple of hits off 600 pages.

                          Anyways.. there is more to it than mass-generated pages.

                                  Sites like these rarely convert, assuming your not caught by the SEs as "spam portal" sites ... Even if you get top rankings, there is usually nothing working clicking on in the site, esp. if it's gibberish.

                                  A better approach would be to use your spam network to post links to your main sites, boosting PR, ranking, etc. Then your main sites (hopefully designed to convert!) should get the bulk of the traffic -> sales.

                                      thanks, I know about article bot, OzMan told me about it couple of months ago, and I really read a lot about it, spent some time on their board etc, what bugs me is that it is not that easy to mster (from what I read) and if it really is that great, sooner or later everybody will start using it, and sooner or later the SEs will find a way to exclude sites built that way

                                          Argh. You can do a whole lot more with a whole lot less and have a page that will be valuable and not run any risk of penalty. I'd focus on half of a dozen or so focused sites that offer a real value to the end user, they will get natural links from people and have good natural traffic in no time. My $0.02

                                              who says you can't have both?

                                              plus you can spend 3 years building your site, getting backlinks, and one sunny day all the SEs might drop you like a dead fish (just go to any SE board and read some of the threads there)
