OMFG 300 was the SHIT!

I'm like going outta my mind here.

I didn't have a favorite action movie UNTIL TONIGHT.

That movie was by far one of the most beautiful ones I have ever seen.

I never see a movie mroe than once in the theatres, last one I did it for was Fight Club - but I am going again to this bitch.

The people having spanish conversations behind us, the packed theatre, the long line, the heat of the fucking place - none of it bothered me too much b/c the movie was so fucking awesome!

Go see this mo'fucker asap!

Really not an action movie (in my book). It is based on actual events. They had some great shit on it on The History Channel Thursday. It looks a little artsy fartsy but that won't stop me from going. I just hope no Spanish speakers sit behind me.

Very true. Some of the things it used were definitely inspired by Lord of the Rings, theres no question about that......like the huge battle giant ogre-like creature. It was definitely spectacular like LOTR was, too.

I thought it was awesome and I was highly skeptical before going to see it.

As far as history, it follows Herodotus - believe him or not - pretty closely to my recollection. I'll assumethe creature-ness of some of the characters is symbolic or maybe it is just cuz comic book adaptation stuff. Xerxes even ACTS like Herodotus' Xerxes.

Imagery was beautiful.

I just hate going to the theatre. Between the lady 2 rows in front that won't turn her cell off and takes the call 3/4's the way in, to the group of adolescents laughing and unfunny parts, there's at least 10 people that need their teeth bashed in everytime I go.

Can't wait for the drive-in to open up again. At least there, I can spew rocks w/ my MTR's over anyone that left their lights on
