    I feel like someone shot my dog. I think I'm gonna cry.

    So I have limited myself to one "premium" Puro per night. I'm talking a 5 x 52 or 54 ring gauge premium smoke that'll make you slap your mom. I really like the big Cohiba presentation class torpedos but a couple weeks ago I got some cigars that are coming from Esteli Nicaragua, about 2 hours from Managua.

    Went down as VIP to a friend's club last Friday night and brought him one too. His half brother is Cuban and he spends a lot of time in Havana also so he knows a great smoke. Well, he smoked this Nica with his eyes half closed and you'd feel guilty even talking to him while it was on.

    So..

    My dealer gets 2 more boxes of these Nicas in, same brand, different line. Of course I bought one of each. One is a Rothchild which I smoked last night. It was good. Woodsy and a bit leathery. Fine smoke.

    Well, I went down to the beach tonight and fired up this big 54 guage Belicoso. Had a rough start, but a lot of them do. No biggie. But instead of getting better, it got worse. Worse I mean almost bad enough to throw away. It burned stupid. It was hot. It taste like shit. It wouldn't stay lit. It turned off with no warning..

    Well, a lot of cigars turn off. That's what they do and they're better when you cool them and re-fire them. Not this one. I relit it, or tried to. It relit like shit, it tasted like shit and it got worse. 2/3 done it WAS bad enough to throw away. Fuck it.

    I'm going to go tell my guy tomorrow to sell those dirty rotten fuckers to the tourists and make room on the shelf for something good.

    I'm gonna to go smoke a 5 peso Mexican cigar now to wash out my foul mouth. I hope tomorrow is better

              I don't think I can get them here, I haven't seen them. Speaking of anniversarios there's a little Mexican Te Amo Anniversario 99 vintage here that I just crave. Small guage, maybe 25 and 4 1/2 inches. Cheap, about 40 pesos. Nice "day" cigar.

              If you get the chance smoke a Drew Estate La Vieja Habana Robusto in the aluminum tube. I swear to all the gods that's one of the best cigars I ever smoked. Cheap enough, maybe 10 - 12 bucks in the states. Drew Nica took 3 of the top 5 awards in the world last year.

              Honduras took number one and Cohiba 2003 Double Corona took 4th.

              Tomorrow nite will be nice .
