Teenagers need an image to conform to - music or sports is usually where they get their identity - right now, a lot of teenagers are getting into the emo music and the emo "look" which is the complete opposite of hip hop style - which explains why rap is dying. Youth culture drives the music industry. Always has, always will. As much as I hate emo, at least it's "kind of sort of" rock music
