    1 wilshire on generator supposedly a main distribution line was cut
    The blackout came a day after ABC aired a videotape of a purported al-Qaida member making terrorist threats against Los Angeles and Melbourne, Australia, on the fourth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.

              NEW YORK ? A tape delivered to ABC News in Pakistan (search ) this weekend features a masked man making terrorist threats against Los Angeles and Australia.

              ABC News reported that the man is believed to be Adam Yahiye Gadahn (search), an American from California purported to be an Al Qaeda (search) member and wanted by the FBI. The CIA said Sunday it was aware of the report but had no immediate comment about the tape's authenticity.

                                      Our generators are working but our network connection has been effected from the outage.

                                      Same with our neighbors on the sub-floors here.

                                                              Power was out sporadically around town, including the west side. Internet took a little longer to come back on but then again Comcast is never all that quick to begin with...
