    When people ask what city you were born in

    Are you supposed to tell them what city the hospital is in that you were actually delivered in, or the city that you actually lived and grew up in right after you came home from the hospital?

      I just say born in Toronto, raised in Vancouver. My parents moved out here when I was two months old, so I'm really not a Toronto girl.

              I always say Warsaw, NY where I grew up, but the actual hospital I was born in was Rochester, NY ...

                  It doesn't really matter much. ;) If you're filling out a form, it's the city the hostpital was in. If you're giving personal information, it's the city your parents lived in at the time of your birth that they're probably interested in...

                                  I tell them Dayton Ohio - it's where I was born on Wright Patterson Air Force base and we lived there for 6 months. I did find out that Wright Pat has a different place to get your birth certificate from than Dayton though.
