i have a normal sized townhouse, not quite sure of the sq footage. but in the summer when i run my ac day and night i pay about 140 a month.

One thing that is really stressed by the alternative energy source "people" is energy conservation. There is no point in creating your own energy if you haven't taken steps to conserve the energy you have already purchased. 4500 sq feet. Gas heat (electric forced air) in winter and electric air conditioning in summer. There are 4 people living here. Part of the electricity bill is for a monster pump in my water feature out back.
Average electricity $390 per month. Average gas $70. Highest combined bill in the last year was $710 in January of this year.Comment
