ya .. he plays Bounty Hunter (star Wars) and Kill All Humans that new Alain game.... both of which my wife got mad when i bought .. but when you shoot someone they just fall down .... shit some of his friends in school play GTA ... I won't even play that if he's up .....

It's fine. I was watching R rated movies since I can remembers. He'll turn out just fine.

Very few kids become problematic from watching R rated movies and playing shooting video games. Most kids arent idiots.

I didn't let my kids see it. I saw it first with a friend and when they asked me if they could watch it I told them nope,, not until your older. When they were "older" 12 they watched it and thought it was kewl.. however,, at 8? I dunno.. You know your kid better than I ever will. So use your judgment. I did.

I'm with you ... we do try to limit what he sees on tv and i don't think the movie is bad at all ... problem is that he loves to act out the scenes of everything he watches ... last time he saw just a bit and was running around doing the Tarzan call out his ass ....

I have the Rick James episode of the Chappelle show on Tivo and he watched ... he says just a few minutes before he knew what it was and shut it off .. but he was running around for days saying "the milks gone bad" and jumping up in front of me yelling "Charley Murphy" and pretending to punch me in the face ... I even saw him dragging his legs and he said to me "they should have never gave you money" he even knew to leave the word nigga out ... freaked out my wife and she's been really on top of him ... but Ace Ventura is i bit light to be stopping an 8yr old it's mostly fart jokes and juvenile shit ..
