    my own dad ripped me off

    Over 100k in the bank, just got a call from them today. I signed some docs for him a couple of years ago (its my father, i trusted him like no one else) . When I called him to tell about it he just hanged up on me. I'm very disappointed as he was my best friend ever.

    I just wish someone here could take his website down and put a message on it... anyone able to do that?

    Btw... be happy with the father you have. Certainly its not worse than mine.

                                                                  the money came from a bank as i already stated in my first post.. the bank is called "Banco do Brasil" - http://www.bb.com.br

                                                                  He opened a company with his wife's father name just to get those loans as his name was already screwed up

                                                                  I was a bailer (not sure if its the right word, just translated it on altavista) for a couple of loans he did in this company's name (over 100k)

                                                                                                          yah that really sucks, i can see where that would hurt you being your dad and all

                                                                                                          does he have money? or is he broke? does he own anything? you can sue and put a lien on his property. or here is USA you can, have no idea there

                                                                                                              My father-in-law had a very similar problem with his brother, but instead of being a bailer (?) he had in his name a tiny % of his brother's company. He lost his car (very very old) and taxi license

                                                                                                                              i think thats the word, consigner.. the only way to get a loan here is with a consigner

                                                                                                                              he is broke.. he owns the farm and a few properties but he has nothing in his name anymore.. he transferred everything to other people's name so the government or any other creditor couldnt take it

                                                                                                                              i already talked with a couple of lawyers but they also think that there are nothing mutch to do as he dont have anything in his name anymore.. hard case i guess.. they are studying the case and i hope i can get better responses next week

She got a small settlement out of it. Her dad told her he could go over to a police auction and get her a nice car for a small amount. She gave him the $10,000 and he brought her back a nice barely used red Mitsubishi Eclipse. She was so happy, and everyone loved her car. Her dad ended up disappearing though.

                                                                                                                                                                              About a year and a half later she gets pulled over for speeding and turns out the car was stolen from a dealer in another state and her dad had taken the money to head to Vegas.
