About 6 years ago I had some hammerhead calling and making threats. I actually spoke to him, and of course he was mr tough guy talking shit from a distance but I treated it as serious. One could be outside for a walk at night and find oneself surrounded by five idiots with baseball bats, or worse.
I called the phone company and they did their trace thing they do for the police, then I called the coppers. Two of Winnipeg's finest came to my house to interview me (one was an insanely hot blonde babe), after which they went and paid the idiot a visit. I don't know what happened beyond that, but the guy has never called here again. Ever.
One of those cops called me back and all he would say was that they spoke to him, and that he had been calling from his girlfriend's place.
