I got clever with the sears catalog... If you took a red piece of cellophane (candy wrapper) and put it over the ads with the red underwear it would make the clothes disappear! (Necessity is the mother of invention
)
Other than that... I had to deal with the same water damaged mags that I would occasionally find in the woods behind various houses in my neighborhood.
