I listened without reading anything so I would not be influenced. And all I heard was shit. Any ‘words’ that I heard were just that -- words – but with no coherent sentences at all. Reverse any song on your hard drive and you'll hear similar shit, there is nothing fancy about those.

Nothing freaky about it IMO.

Do that with almost any song, and you'll think you can ear other words. I'm amazed people think these are done on purpose, or are messages from the dead...

Backmasking always freaked me the fuck out. However there are a few songs where it was intentionally done, "Fire on High" by ELO for example was clearly recorded backwards and meant to be played backwards.

I don't really hear anything in these Nirvana ones. Although at the end of "A Day in the Life" by The Beatles you can definately hear "Paul is Dead," crazy shit.

I think about 5% of all backmasking is valid, IE was put there intentionally.

I think the last 95% is found by the people that belive the twin towers was taken down by the martians that built the pyramids because they saw it in the Alien Vs Predator movie.

have you guys ever heard of reverse speech? basically this guy claims that if a lie is told in forward regular speech, the truth can be heard when you reverse it. hes got all sorts of samples from famous cases like jon bennet, oj simpson, kobe, bush, ect. music ones too. but its much the same as these other examples posted, if you didn't know what to listen for before hearing it, it just sounds like garbbled nothingness. either way, check it out if you're interested in that type of thing http://www.reversespeech.com/revlab.htm
