    watermarking video vs. hotlinkers

    Hi everyone! glad to be on board.

    Question, how does one avoid people from hotlinking to videos on a site???
    I heard of watermarking, but I am not sure that solves the problem...any scripts or software??

      use htaccess or just drop the lines in httpd.conf

              Old chestnut.

              Media Player will not send a referrer for videos.

              Referrer based anti-hotlinking can be easily spoofed.

              htaccess sort of works if the hotlinker is a moron.
